Mystery Block C

I know you have all been waiting for block C,  Well Here we go

First cut backing and batting about 11" squrare or 11 1/2" if you want more security space

Make nine 2 1/2" squares to arrange into a nine patch. You can make it like mine or scrappy.
Fold the backing and batting in half and crease or draw a pencil line. To mark the middle
Fold the backing and batting in fourths and crease or draw a pencil line. To make the middle.
After you sew the nine patch. fold it into quarters to show the middle. Please this middle on the batting middle.  Pin.
The nine patch should measure 6 1/2" square.
Cut a strip 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" and place right sides together on the right side of the four patch and sew it on 1/4" seam.


Next press open



Cut a strip 2 1/2" x 8 1/2'
place right sides together at the bottom, Sew 1/4" seam


. Press open.

 Next cut a strip 3" x 8 1/2" (trim down later to 2 1/2" width)


press open
 
Cut a strip 3" x 8 1/2" place right sides together on the top. sew 1/4/" seam
 
 
press open
 
square up the block to 10 1/2" x 10 1/2"
I will embleish with zig zag later and add other bits and squares.
